and Learn Law Enforcement Techniques

All Explorer candidates must successfully complete an eight-day, 64-hour Law Enforcement Explorer Academy. The Academy takes place in June. To apply visit our Contact page.

The Explorer Post places a heavy emphasis on community service. The Post teaches the Explorers the value of hard work and aims to instill a spirit of service in every young adult.

Physical fitness is a large part of the Explorer experience. Explorers are required to participate in weekly physical fitness sessions and an annual fitness test.   

Upon acceptance to the Academy, candidates quickly learn that teamwork is essential to graduation. Explorers are taught to become valued team members as well as leaders.
